Talal Mahmood, M.D.
ASH Specialist in Clinical Hypertension
Dr. Talal Mahmood is dedicated to comprehensive healthcare and a patient centered approach to managing illness. He believes patients must actively participate in their healthcare decisions, and educates patients on how to be involved in their own care.
Dr. Mahmood is board certified in Nephrology and board certified in Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship at University of Mississippi Medical Center and his residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. For three years Dr. Mahmood worked as a Hospitalist prior to pursuing his Nephrology Fellowship. He is a designated ASH Specialist in Clinical Hypertension by the ASH Specialist Program Board.
Krishna Manda, M.D.
Krishna Manda, MD is well trained in treating patients with all types of kidney disease. He prides himself on providing compassionate, high-quality care through open communication and respect for patients’ questions and concerns. He is dedicated to maintaining a practice with an emphasis on patient safety, and has worked with various hospital departments throughout his training to improve safety and health outcomes.
Dr. Manda is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He completed his fellowship at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester MA, and his residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield MA, where he served as Chief Resident. Prior to moving to the United States, Dr. Manda trained in the United Kingdom, obtaining his MRCP. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation.
Muamer Mulasmajic, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Muamer Mulasmajic, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified nephrology nurse practitioner who approach each patient with compassion and a holistic care model. He feels that patients must have not only their physical health care for but their mental and spiritual health looked after as well. A graduate of Saint Anthony College of Nursing with his master degree, he joins the practice with nearly 2 years of nephrology experience, previously he worked as a bedside ICU nurse caring for the most acutely ill patients, he brings this passion and knowledge to Kidney Care Center to provide the most sound and up to date care for our nephrology patients. When he’s not caring for patients he enjoys crafting beer as a home brewer, spending time with his wife and two kids, and enjoying life and everything that we are gifted everyday.
